Sketch
Ramelle T.
Lee
is a Christian author, poet and
speaker. She is the founder and president of Touching Your Heart
Ministries. In 2005, her first book, STEP INTO HIS GREATNESS,
was published. This book of prophetic meditation and devotional
messages from the Lord encourages all to walk worthy of their
calling in Christ Jesus.
Since 2004, more than 4,500
poems and over 400 of her framed poetry creations have been
purchased and given to minister to people. Ramelle's signature
poem," Keep God in the Picture," was showcased at Dimitri's
Restaurant in Dearborn, Michigan. It was featured there for five
years until the restaurant's closing in 2009. This poem went to
Kuwait in 2005, by one our brave military personnel. As a special
outreach, Touching Your Heart Ministries sent a Christmas
package of seventy-five poems to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center
in Washington, D.C. to honor the soldiers and their families. A
thank you letter from Kristi Pappas Chaplain (MAJ), US Army Senior
Chaplain Clinician Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care was
received in return. In 2007, Ramelle presented General
USAF(Retired) Lloyd Newton with a copy of her book at a scholarship
luncheon hosted by the Detroit Chapter of Tennessee State University
Alumni Association.
Ramelle's book, STEP INTO
HIS GREATNESS, is in
the African American Literature Collection at Wayne State University
in Detroit, Michigan and The Christian Library and Study Center in
Lincoln Park, Mi. Her book has reached over twenty states and eight
countries. God has opened the door for Author Ramelle T. Lee around
the world in Freeport Grand Bahamas, Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada)
Windsor, Ontario (Canada) London, England, Torino, Italy, Nigeria,
South Africa, Dimoni, Israel, and Iwakuni, Japan.
Ramelle's work and ministry
is acknowledged in the White House in Washington, D.C. In February
2009, to honor the Inauguration of the 44th president of the United
States of America, Barack Obama and the First family Ramelle sent
them a special collection of her work. It included copies of her
book, framed poetry and other items.
Her anointed poems,
prophetic messages, book, and other products are making a vast
difference around the world. Since 2009, Ramelle has been touching
the lives of others by uniting with other ministries. Some of these
are: Write the Vision Ministries and Media Productions,
International, United Conference of Women of Detroit-Southfield, MI,
The Sistahs Ministries, International, The Called and Ready Writers,
Second Chance Ministries of Detroit, Love By Example of Portland,
OR, S.A.F.E, (Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment), Great
Heritage Ministries of Southfield, and P.O.E.T. Ministries of
Detroit.
Ramelle's prophetic messages
have been published in several issues of the Sistah Talk E-Magazine
published by The
S.I.S.T.A.H.S Ministry International ( Uniting Women and Teenage
Girls to Impact Their Lives). Rev. Celeste E. Kelley is the Editor,
Co-founder and Director. Ramelle's inspirational articles and poems
also have been featured in The Lamp Newsletter published by Wanda J.
Burnside, The Called and Ready Writers and in the book, Faith:
Lose It...Or Use It, by Minister Mary Edwards.
Ramelle has been featured at
the Black Literary Marketplace Expo at Michigan public libraries in
Detroit , Southfield and Rochester. She has been featured on several
radio programs. Ramelle was on "Write the Vision Ministries" hosted
by Rev. Celeste Kelly, the founder and president. Author Lee read
her message, "Walk in God's Peace," from her book.
This presentation is now
featured as a Google Video. She was also on Faith Talk Radio A.M.
1500 with Chaplain Kathy Wuopio on "Living Through Him Ministries,"
"Always In His Presence Ministries" in Highland Park, Michigan with
Pastor Ovella Davis, and XRadio.Biz in Las Vegas, Nevada with
Minister Jerusha McDonald Hylton, and "Artist First Inspirational
Talk" with Toneal in Chicago, Ill.
Touching Your Heart
Ministries has greatly expanded to
unite with major leading outreach ministries and national Christian
leaders such as: Prophet Kim Clement of Prophetic Image Expressions,
Dr. Nasir Sidikki of Wisdom Ministries, Benny Hinn Ministries and
Marilyn Hickey Ministries, to name a few.
In 2010, her writing
ministries launched into greater areas. Ramelle debuted her
powerful, "Believer's Marriage Restoration Prayer," at Mt.
Zion New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Mi. She
ministered and presented her prayer to twelve married couples in a
Renewal of Vows
Ceremony.
In October 2010, Author
Lee's signature poem, "Keep God in the Picture" became a part
of the DMC Spiritual Care Unit. It is given to their patients at the
Detroit Medical Center University Hospital. Her latest poem, "Close
the Door Now To Regret," debuted that year as an intriguing and
captivating movie. In November, eight of her new mediation messages
were released.
In 2012, Ramelle became a
productive business owner and manager of three gift basket
ministries: Red and Gold Heart Basket, Purple Royalty Basket and
David's Armor Basket. Each basket contains her inspirational
products and items. Her merchandise is in great demand.
Ramelle T. Lee is a lifetime
member of The Called and Ready Writers. She is also an
Administrative Assistant and the Membership Chairman in this
Christian writing guild. Ramelle is actively involved in this
organization on many other levels.
She is a dedicated member of
Greater Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church pastored by Reverend Dr.
Randolph Thomas in Southwest Detroit, Michigan.
In 2011-2012, Ramelle was
honored by her church's Sunday School department. Twelve of her
poems were featured and recited at their annual Christmas program.
Her devoted and faithful pastor, Reverend Thomas, provides an avenue
for her to minister to the congregation with her ministry. He gives
her encouragement, support and prayers. Her church embraces and
supports her writing ministry.
Over the coming years,
Touching Your Heart Ministries will publish books, release
several Spoken Word CD's and travel throughout the United States.
She plans to lecture at workshops, conferences and seminars. She
will be speaking at women's conferences and retreats. New business
ventures are underway for her basket ministries.
Ramelle was employed at
Henry Ford Health System for 31 years in Health Information
Management in Detroit, Michigan.
