Evangelist Denice R. Porchia is a published poet and national author. PURE GOLD was her first book of inspirational poetry. She is a contributing writer for Chicken Soup For Twins and More. ‘The Fighter.” "The Winding Road" is her second book of poetry.

Denice graduated from the field of Occupational Therapy in 1983, and also graduated from The Detroit Business Institute in 1975. She also graduated from The Geraldine Marvel Miller Wright Inst. for Women in Ministry in 2002. Marvel Miller Wright Institute for Women in Ministry in 2006, and graduated from the Missionary Auxiliary Awareness Institute of jurisdiction Southwest No.1 in 2002.

Denice is an active member of The Called And Ready Writer’s Guild, where she serves as a member of the board and as their Praise and Worship Leader.

She is currently working on two non-fiction projects as well as her own all occasion greeting card line. One of her projects is helping to promote emotional strength and balance to women who have been sexually molested and abused. Denice is a workshop facilitator.

Denice is a member of Missionary Temple C.O.G.I.C. Where she has served as a mission president, chaplain of the Women’s Auxiliary, Sunday School Teacher, and various other duties. She serves under Pastor Wilfred Matthews.
